    Description

    These belonged to my dad.   He played all of his life, at Cobo Hall in Detroit, and later in San Diego hen he retired.   One is a Stiga “Grand Slam” model T-6908.  It says “Designed in Sweden” and has Drive rubber, one red and one black.  The other is a Dany III / Juic and has J.T.T.A.A. On the rubbe.   He wrote his name “Compton” on the heel of that paddle.  The rubber on both is in very good condition.   I have had these in my possession for a long time.  I’m moving and need to lighten the load.   Hopefully someone can use them!
    My dad was invited to Go to China when Nixon was president, and allowed Americans to visit for the first time.   He did not go, but many of his fellow players did.  He was not at pro level, but I believe he was a very good player.  The Chinese kicked their butts though, I remember that.
